What is your personality like?

Hastur is an insubordinate, ruthless, belligerant survivor with a veneer of friendly comeradery. He despises most Guard officers as incompetent and undeserving of their rank and Hastur firmly believes that he could do their job far better. Despite all this Hastur has a strong sense of professionalism and is a loyal believer in the Imperium and the Imperial creed.

How did you meet the Inquisitor?

Hastur was charged with exceeding the letter of his orders resulting in the death of his platoon commander. More specifically his squad was ordered to disable a rebel Leman Russ. When the resulting explosion killed half of Hastur's squad and most of the nearb by platoon command squad including the officer Hastur and his surviving squad mates were condemned to the penal legions. Hastur has survived two warzones in the penal legion and this has brought him to the attention of the Inquisition.

What does the Inquisition mean to you?

To Hastur the Inquisition represents opportunity. The opportunity to get out of the penal legion and more importantly the opportunity to achieve higher rank and power. The opportunity to prove himself a better soldier and officer than the imcompetent wastrels he has served under.

What will you sacrifice?

Hastur will happily sacrifice anyone or anything to achieve his goals and to ensure his survival however he is a loyal imperial soldier and will not willingly do anything that he thinks will harm the Imperium.

What do you desire?

Hastur wants to stay out of the penal legions and to achieve promotion and power.

What do you hate?

Hastur hates incompetence both in those giving him orders and those fighting by his side as their incompetence puts his life and the safety of the Imperium at risk. Hastur has repeatedly shown that he has no problem engineering the 'removal' of anyone he deems to be incompetent and a threat to his safety or that of the imperium.
