We arrived on Seijad and, claiming to be members of an interdisciplinary taskforce, were welcomed into the Adeptus Mechanicus' main shrine. The building is impressive but pales in comparaison to those of Holy Terra. The Lord Arch Magos is unable to give us an audience but will do so tomorrow.

Lord Arch Magos Traemor is, like most members of the Adeptus Mechanicus, impossible to fathom. She(?) was most arrogant and dismissive of us and gave us few answers to our questions. The cause of the reduction in productivity was not revealed despite our, at times insistant, proddng. We were, however, provided with data revealing the extent of the shortfall, primarily in small arms and armoured vehicles. Measures, we were assured, have been taken to bring production levels back up and this was reflected in the data we were given.
Lord Arch Magos Traemor did not seem to posess much of her(?) original body, having converted most of her form to mechanical parts. This is particularly unnerving, especially with her use of a death-mask to cover what is left of her face. She also wears white robes whcih is unusual for one of her rank. Your most humble servents were most vexed by this and a subsequent reading of the Emperor' Tarot cast doubt upon her true alleigance.
The cell then proceeded into the non-mechanicus controlled section of the planet to continue our investigations. The governer has been given the same data we were and believes that, while shipments could be stolen/diverted, it would only be in a limited capacity. For some unknown reason, the Mechanicus are dragging their feet.
We then went to investigate the factories with transport kindly provided by the Adeptus Mechanicus. At the factory for producing the venerable Leman-Russ and its variants, the techpriest in charge was unaware of any drop in productivity. Apparently, they are currently operating at 120% productivity and were operating at 100% before the new measures were put in place. We are given a copy of the data that supports this and is in direct conflict with the figures given to us by Traemor. This story was repeated at the factory for the Chimera and its variants.
The figures from the small arm factories were in line with those provided by the Lord Arch Magos. This was due to the violent sabotaging of some of the production apparatus. The demolition was done by someone with knowledge of the workings of the factory. The techpriests in charge could not shed any light as they had all been asigned to the factory after the incident. Any labourers who might have known had been killed or converted into servitors. The sabotage occured the day before the new measures were implemented.
All the evidence collected so far indicates a conspiracy on the part of the Lord Arch Magos to divert a considerable portion of the world's production to parties unknown. How the products have been shipped offworld, or if they have been moved offworld is unknown at this stage.

This morning, the cell visited the armoured vehicle warehouse. The records of goods in and out matches with the figures given to us by Traemor but not with those at the factory. This was repeated at one of the small-arms warehouses. A Magos Seghari, when questioned, revealed that she modified the warehous records on the orders of the Lord Arch Magos and gave us evidence. We agreed to give her protection is she requested it.
We were unable to match any of the small arms that passed throught the warehouses with those employed by Scabs' gang though this is unsurprising considering the falsification of records.
The cell matched the dates of some of the record falsifications with the departure of two ships. One was the Inextricable Glory and the other was one of the few that escaped Sveslor.
We have been invited to a dinner by the Lord Arch Magos, hopefully we shall learn more there.
