The dinner turned into disaster. Something in the drinks caused the assembled techpriests to reject their implants. For some this was disturbing but not immediately life threatening. For the more heavily augmented such as Lord Arch Magos Traemor, it could be fatal. I attempted to assist the afflicted with mypowers, but an eddy in the current of the immterium caused phenomena that in turn caused the skitarii, who were aready on edge, to suspet me of complicity in the act.

Pike and Hastur ran into a dead end searching the kitchens for an indication of who had tampered with the drinks. Meanwhile, the others attempted to work out who would do such a thing. One theory, put forward by myself, was that Seghari was making a play for power. Seghari knew that the cell would protect her first, to the exclusion of other members of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Thus she could poison the drink and eliminate the rest of the power structure while being saved from a similar fate. Being afflicted herself would avert blame from herself at the same time.

In these circumstances, my danger sense triggered and, after warning the rest of the cell of Seghari's complicity in the events, I used my powers to attempt an escape of this most dangerous situation. A fracas developed with the Skitarii overreaacting and firing wildly at apparitions. In the ensuing chaos, Zek was grevously wounded in the leg by a stray hellgun bolt. Hasture eventually restored calm but we were all politely ejected from the Mechanicus shrine.

We later learned that Lord Arch Magos Traemor died and, for the time being, has been replaced by Magos Novus with Magos Seghari as second in command. I fear for the safety of Magos Novus as I believe that Seghari will attempt to finish the job and take power for herself.

We have gained passage on the Last Oration to Gorane.

We have arrived at Gorane, four days ahead of schedule. The disturbances in the warp which aided our travel worry me as this unpredictability in the immaterium is likely to be a portent of coming disaster.

The Imperial Guard stationed here provided us with a report on the training accident on Tejal. The official report is most suspicious as the train of events leading to the disaster is widely improbable.

Both Rogue Trader Attilas and Rogue Trader Ferrus have homes and offices here though neither are in residence at the moment (Ferrus is currently at Sebrian and Attilas' location is unknown). Attilas' house is rumoured to be guarded well beyond what is practical or necessary which arouses our suspicions.
