Tharo

Bio-ish details
What is your name?
Tharoldal Undodiir
What is your quest?
To repay a life debt to Culain Fheadha. Doesn't hurt that adventure & loot tend to be plentiful in his wake.
What is your favourite colour?
Grey
Race:
Elf
Gender:
Male
What is the most memorable thing from your childhood?
A human visited my home settlement and after her departure a number of items were discovered to be missing. I found myself fascinated by how she was able, without detection, to pilfer these trinkets while they were on the person of their owner.
Why did you become an adventurer?
To learn certain skills that were frowned upon in my home.
What would you unconditionally fight over?
Honour. However my interpretation of that is somewhat... Unique.
What do you fear, and how do you react in such situations?
Capture. I seek escape and gain range enough to use my bow
If others had to define your personality with one characteristic, what would it be?
Opportunistic
What do you want to achieve in your adventures?
To satisfy my curiosity regarding the skills of the human thief from my childhood. I have had little luck with this to date and remain far more skilled in the ways of the wilderness.
What do you want to be remembered for once you are gone?
I would prefer to be remembered as a driven individual rather than simply the restless soul I am.
Experiences / Interaction with other characters
Tharo began his journeys with a distinct naivety regarding those not of the Elven communities and their potential motivations. This has lead to trouble for him and he is slowly learning that those around him may not look out for him the way he would expect. As an early attempt to replicate the skills of human travellers created a situation that Tharo is confident he would not have walked away from were it not for the timely arrival of a hulking brawler. Tharo swore to himself that this debt would be repaid; setting the path of his travels into the future.
This naivety showed itself greatly when the presence of a Drow was discovered in Ironhedge Bridge. Tharo had, like many Elves, been raise with tales of this bloodthirsty race who cannot be trusted. The dismissal of his concerns rattled Tharo and his security within the party. To date the creature has appeared the victim and caused no clear harm but surely this is but a ploy?
Having infiltrated the coming army itself the revelation of previously unmentioned family in this force has left Culain's loyalty in doubt. Will he again risk the safety of the party to pursue the matter? Is the presence of family a chance to repay the debt owed?
Escape back towards Ironhedge Bridge proved to provide little boost to the confidence of Tharo. Encountering the small force from Draccliff showed the entanglements of Harold within this larger conflict although, thankfully, he appears to have only antagonism for the personages involved.
Perhaps most surprising of all is that Faria is keeping secrets that may greatly affect the coming conflict. Her details have been vague at best and even less concerning when or how she has come by this information.
Attempts to elicit further information from or about his companions have thus far come to nought. Despite this failure Tharo has noticed an apparent distrust and some murmured comments regarding "the thief".
A greater shock has now been felt - an amount of gold (524) has been stolen from Tharo!
Could this be what Culain & Hardold have been hiding and the source of certain comments?
